Rankings are a balanced view of demand — adjusted so a single deployment that runs one game heavily doesn't dominate the list, then tuned by market for the per-region lists. They draw on real game-start events over a rolling 60-day window (one large custom-games embed excluded). Beside each title are its average play time and representative start and completion rates — the share of viewers who start a game, and the share of players who finish it. Newly added games are the exception: a title live for only a week or two hasn't had time to build play history, so a lower spot here reflects its age, not its quality — expect new releases to climb as they gather data.
