Do players need an account to be on a leaderboard?
No. Guests get a made-up name on their device. If your site has sign-in, you can pass in your readers' names instead.
How are players ranked?
A win ranks above a loss. Then each game uses its own measure: time for most puzzles, fewest guesses for word guessing, highest score for trivia and fewest moves for move games. Only the first try counts.
Which games have leaderboards?
Daily and Pinned games, where everyone plays the same puzzle. Random games give every player a different puzzle, so they have none.
Which plan includes leaderboards?
Leaderboards come with the Team plan and work during the 7-day trial. Streaks and sharing work on every plan.
Where are streaks kept?
On the player's own device. Saves, streaks and the guest name stay in the browser's storage for the game, never in an account.
